Purpose: Provide safe and independent living situation for senior citizens within the community.
Eligibility: Seniors who are at least 62 years of age and satisfy specified income requirements.
Services Provided: One bedroom units are available in a controlled-access building is for those who can live independently. Amenities include laundry facility, community room, shuffleboard court and transportation to and from shopping and doctor appointments. The environment is drug-free, with smoke-free common areas, is air conditioned, on the bus line and close to downtown Cleveland, the facility is also cable-ready. |

| Bridge Programs |
Purpose: Created to provide wrap-around services to at-risk youth as they transition from correctional facilities back into a traditional school environment.
Eligibility: Youth ages 12-17 who have been placed in correctional facilities and have not returned to a mainstream school environment.
Services Provided: Classroom behavior modification training with licensed and certified Cleveland Public School teachers and after school activities that include counseling sessions through Mount Sinai Ministries' Day Treatment Program. |
| Bridges to Life |
Purpose: To provide a bridge for women and men transitioning from public assistance to self-sufficiency and work readiness. The program is conducted in a familiar community location in a supportive environment.
Eligibility: Those currently receiving or eligible to receive TANF benefits.
Services Provided: Assistance with life skills development, skill enhancement lessons in reading, math, writing and preparation for the GED, creation of resume and cover letters, and interview skills training |
| Childcare Center |
Purpose: To provide quality childcare for children whose parents are working or enrolled in school.
Eligibility: Children 2½- to 5-years-old and potty-trained.
Services Provided: Age-appropriate experiences provided in a warm, nurturing environment to promote growth and development of the individual child physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and creatively. The Center also provides special programs that offer fun and recreational learning experiences to children. |
| Community Youth Enrichment Services (Y.E.S.) |
Purpose: To aid in the transition of youth from the Youth Development Center back to the community through the development and administration of accountability-based interventions.
Eligibility: Youth who have been released from the Youth Development Center.
Services Provided: Assist youth and their families to develop stronger relationships through: Adolescent Adjustment Group Sessions; Educational Support & Vocational Orientation; Parent Support/Education; Value Clarification; Mentoring |
| Day Treatment Programs |
Purpose: An alternative intervention to youth detention, designed to provide at-risk youth who have been placed in the Juvenile Court system an opportunity to overcome their obstacles in a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Eligibility: Youth ages 12-17 who are currently on probation.
Services Provided: Educational support on life management topics, such as anger management and family dynamics. Licensed counselors also create an on-going treatment plan. |
| One Church One Child |
Purpose: A recruitment program designed to find adoptive homes for children waiting for a “Forever Family.” Services Provided: To assist participating Churches in the promotion of increased awareness of the urgent need of adoptive children in Cuyahoga County. |
| Project Synergy |
Purpose: Designed to address various relevant issues in the Cleveland Municipal Schools; Provide assistance to at-risk youth to decrease truancy, increase academic performance, and provide substance abuse awareness.
Eligibility: Students recommended from participating Cleveland Municipal Schools
Services Provided: Meals and transportation, tutoring, counseling, values and goal setting, career guidance, family support services, case management, employment service, referrals and relevant and appropriate group activities. |
